Summary The Building Mechanic performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.  This position reports to the Lead Stationary Engineer. The hours for this position are Sunday- Thursday from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed engineer.) Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts. Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Position Summary The CDMI curriculum comprises integrated oral health and basic science courses and modules emphasizing knowledge, skills and values in clinical areas and disciplines (e.g. Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, Periodontics, etc.), as required for pre-doctoral education in general comprehensive dentistry. The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for instruction and overall support of the CDMI curriculum, as assigned.  Instruction includes teaching in one-to-one, small group, plenary and demonstration settings. As well, in the patient care setting, the Adjunct Faculty member is expected to demonstrate and facilitate the delivery of care as well as the use of electronic media as required.    Reporting Relationship In the Preclinical program, the Adjunct Faculty member reports to the Associate Dean, Preclinical Education.
