Summary The Laboratory Technician - Necropsy is responsible for the day-to-day operations on the postmortem floor in the veterinary pathology facility. Activities will include active participation in necropsy procedures, maintaining the necropsy laboratory and equipment, and communication and coordination with pathology faculty, case submitters, veterinary students, histology laboratory personnel and other Midwestern University employees. This job will require excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, physical ability to move various animal remains, willingness to abide by laboratory health and safety standards and protocols, and a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to organization growth and changes.
