What You Will Be Doing

Join Wyndham Capital's Junior Processing team!  In this role you will reach out to 3rd parties to collect all documents needed for a complete and accurate Mortgage Application.  Doing well in this role can lead you on a career path to becoming a Mortgage Loan Processor!

  • Order third party reports including credit reports, escrow instructions, preliminary title reports and appraisals
  • Structure loans in preparation for processors
  • Verify file quality prior to submission
  • Ensure complete loan packages have been submitted for processing, including updates if and when changes occur
  • Assist other processors or answer customer questions as needed
  • Cross train to assist in other areas as needed
  • Continue training to achieve full processor status
  • Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Answer phone and email questions in a personable and professional manner. Direct incoming calls appropriately and greet customers when maintaining front desk responsibilities
  • Communicate with loan officers regarding status of their loan
  • Promote professionalism and customer confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential
  • Stack and scan files for audit and/or retention

What We Need

  • 6 months – 1 year mortgage experience.  Preferably as Loan Officer Assistant or Junior Underwriter.  Will also look at candidates with NO mortgage experience.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • High School diploma
  • Experience with Encompass is a plus
  • Strong attendance, reliability, detail-oriented, and well organized
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work independently with little supervision at times
  • Good follow through until completion of file
