Job Description

Mission:

The Supply Chain Pipeline offers an exceptional opportunity to gain experience in all areas of supply chain management including new product planning, engineering, supply, distribution, and inventory management in one of our US manufacturing facilities.  This position is responsible for the creation and weekly distribution of the production plan of all or parts of the business activity and for some activities the delivery plan, which maximizes the response to customer needs by optimizing the industrial stock of the products delivered, and the industrial cost of the business activity.


Responsibilities:

  • Initiates orders, product manufacturing plans, and product delivery within a global Supply Chain network.
  • Performs assignments independently when given instructions as to the expected results.
  • Executes assigned orders from receipt to delivery to the customer.
  • Ensures each phase/step of the process of the order is on-time and accurate (monitor the triggers/milestones).
  • Advises Supply Chain management and all needed parties of any issues that may interfere with the successful delivery of the order.
  • Conducts presentations as appropriate.
  • Defines, directs and monitors action plans pertaining to the delivery orders.
  • Executes all systems entries using a variety of software.
  • Collaborates/networks with other Supply Chain team members.
  • Suggests and implements improvements in the planning system.
  • Prepares reports and recommendations for management and assists in the continuous improvement of the quality of our products and services.
  • Provides backup support to Supply Chain personnel as indicated by the Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Business or Technical field
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain principles and processes
  • Willingness to be relocated to any of our manufacturing sites in the Unites States
  • Excellent computer skills to include Excel, Access and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills
  • Very comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of importing and exporting of goods a plus
