As Director of Product Marketing- Demand Generation, you will bring your data-driven, analytical approach to every campaign and program (including new ones you identify) to optimize results and increase spend efficiency. You will update and own definitions for key success metrics, and be responsible for reporting to executive stakeholders. We value both metrics and creativity, and you will surprise the team with your unique ideas, and your ability to make them happen. We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and ambitious leader who will own the building of sales pipeline and new business revenue growth.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for establishing a scalable inbound lead generation strategy and manage a team that executes growth initiatives at Swiftpage. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact at a fast-growing startup for a results-driven, highly-collaborative individual who is comfortable with both the analytical and creative aspects of leading a holistic demand generation strategy.

We are looking for someone with a minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing/product marketing. Previous managerial/supervisory experience required. Previous experience with SMB customers required. 

This ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success building and executing measurable demand gen campaigns for SMB technology companies (ideally perpetual license to SaaS business model). He/she will deeply understand the importance of collecting market dynamics and customer insights within a global context, then utilizing that information to propel digital marketing and lead generation campaigns. 

This is a key leadership role, working closely with multiple department heads to understand the needs of the overall business and direct your team to produce personalized content and targeted marketing to achieve lead gen targets. This candidate will actively participate in shaping the continued evolution of the Product Marketing team on a global basis. 

Key Duties:

  • Lead and continually develop a high-performance demand generation product marketing team that leads our organization in achieving our revenue goals for our product and solution offerings.
  • As an incredible storyteller, lead the development of highly creative campaign themes that break through the industry noise, present unique value propositions and deliver supporting content that is story- and benefit- based and focused on customer pain points and/or critical business challenges.
  • Own, refine and tune the lead generation and pipeline model and focus on acquiring new customers.
  • Define lead generation goals, KPIs and dashboards for ongoing management and measurement to success.
  • Build and sustain a learning culture that enables a continuous optimization cycle
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that the demand generation efforts are aligned with the sales objectives and goals for our products, solutions, industries, and segments.
  • Manage the new customer acquisition team to ensure that product marketing programs produce a steady flow of leads to meet the established KPIs including pipeline creation.
  • Manage the creation and execution of strategic demand generation plans, which include webinars, email programs, nurturing campaigns, advertising, and content syndication to meet quarterly lead generation and sales opportunity pipeline goals, as well as recruitment for field marketing events.
  • Work closely with the sales team to establish the process of lead qualification, acceptance, and ultimately opportunity pipeline creation. Create nurturing campaigns for sales opportunities in the funnel.
  • Create best-in-class ABM and marketing automation campaigns and processes using Eloqua, Salesforce, and other state-of-the-art technologies that help us find the right prospects.
  • Partner closely with the product marketing team on needed content creation and initiative planning in our marketing calendar
  • Build our customer lifecycle marketing program to increase customer delight, loyalty, advocacy, and business growth
  • Produce weekly campaign performance reports (e.g., webinar registrants, campaign metrics, paid media performance metrics, net new leads, new orgs, CPA, conversion rates, etc.). Identify and initiate new campaigns and new opportunities for existing campaigns based on analysis of past performance.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage our talented demand generation marketers, customer lifecycle marketers, and marketing operations professionals.
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
