The main responsibilities of this position include reviewing, organizing, analyzing and processing new and renewal stop-loss quotes. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Initiate renewal requests
  • Generate and follow-up on data requests
  • Evaluate and input required data points into system
  • Develop preliminary rating
  • Maintain strong working relationships with underwriters

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized and have the ability to manage a high volume workload 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Self-motivated
  • Good problem solving skills

  • Demonstrates multi-tasking ability
  • Requires strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge

 Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in the Medical Stop Loss
  • BA/BS degree preferred
