The hourly rate is $17.22 which translates to $35,817.60 per year.
General Work Schedule:
Position typically works Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm in-office at UCO’s main campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Position Overview
Assist in the creation, development, production, and dissemination of library communications. Create and coordinate the library’s social media posts and outreach efforts to students, faculty, and staff. Provide support for library events, promotional and fundraising efforts for the Max Chambers library. Update and assemble promotional materials, provide support to senior personnel in developing marketing, communications, and/or fundraising plans. Serves as the initial point-of-contact for communication and/or marketing inquiries from on-and-off campus entities.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience and education that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
Qualifications/Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in strategic communications, communications, or public relations and/or prior work experience in communications, marketing or public relations. Knowledge of and experience with social media platforms and social media management software in a professional setting. Experience with event planning and execution. Experience with promotional photography and audio and video production.
