Position Summary: MCC Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our growing team, serving clients in Bensalem, PA, and the surrounding communities. This role offers significant flexibility, allowing clinicians to manage their own schedules while providing essential mental health support. The Outpatient Therapist will conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Service Delivery: Provide high-quality individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients presenting with a variety of mental health concerns.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, working a minimum of 12 hours per week.
  • Telehealth Integration: Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy services, offering convenience and accessibility to clients.
  • Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Crisis Management: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, referring to higher levels of care when appropriate.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with MCC Family Services policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate care with other professionals, family members, and community resources to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices.
  • Ethical Practice: Adhere to all professional ethical guidelines and legal requirements for mental health practice in Pennsylvania.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure:
    • Currently holding or actively pursuing relevant licensure in Pennsylvania (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, etc.). Preference will be given to fully licensed clinicians.
    • If pursuing licensure, must be eligible for and actively receiving supervision towards licensure.
  • Experience: Previous experience in providing outpatient therapy services is preferred. Experience with diverse client populations (children, adolescents, adults, families) is a plus.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week. Flexible scheduling options are available.
  • Clearances: Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting, and Drug Screen).
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Proof of Covid-19 vaccination, or a Medical Exemption, or Religious Exemption.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
    • Compassionate, empathetic, and client-centered approach.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
