Altus Partners, the only 100% commission-free corporate insurance broker in the US, seeks a Business Development Associate who is eager to join a firm that’s committed to disrupting the property and casualty insurance industry—by eliminating commissions—and the conflicts of interest they create—from all insurance transactions.
The Business Development Associate’s key responsibilities will be:
· Actively prospect and generate at least 60 new qualified opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and digital marketing in the first 18 months.
We are looking for team members who meet the following requirements:
· Experience: Two to five years of experience in property and casualty insurance is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong sales or business development background outside the property and casualty insurance business are encouraged to apply.
· Licensing: If not already licensed, the candidate must obtain and maintain state-specific insurance licensing (property and casualty) within sixty (60) days of employment.
· Travel: Candidate must be willing to travel locally and nationally to attend new business meetings and events.
