Job Description

Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for a Full-time Clinical Coordinators within our agency serving Coconino County. 

The Clinical Coordinator will be the family’s primary point of contact and will provide comprehensive care to address the presenting behavioral health needs. We specialize in partnering with families to build effective relationships and to inspire hope for a positive future. This position involves working directly with children and families.This is not a supervisory position. Majority of time is spent in homes and the community rather than in an office setting. This position will also participate in an on call rotation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This position involves case management and communication with agency partners to promote youth and community members’ resiliency through the transition into a less restrictive environment.
  • Collaborating with family team members to create support plans that accurately capture the strengths, needs and culture of the family.
  • Facilitating CFT meetings (establishing an agenda, setting and maintaining a strength based meeting environment, staying within timeframes, giving all team participants the opportunity to contribute, holding people accountable for their commitments and the ability to assist a team in developing a consensus) for children and families.
  • Assisting young people and families in securing needed community resources and linkages to other services. Helping families to identify natural and informal supports.
  • Plan and facilitate fun and engaging activities involving physical and emotional regulation, promoting social skills and positive behaviors.
  • Interacting professionally with other stakeholders Division of Child Safety (DCS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), juvenile probation, Direct Service Providers (DSP), etc.)
  • Performing other duties related to the position

This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county and working within the homes and communities of the families we support is required.

Education/Experience Needed:

  • High school diploma or GED .
  • Must be BHT with two (2) years of related behavioral health work experience or related bachelor’s degree.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39 month driving record
  • Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
  • Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
  • Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
