We're looking for a sharp, driven, customer-success-oriented individual for our Consultant Manager position who can effectively engage with our clients and quickly get to the root of, and help solve, their business issues. 

In short, BluWave is like an innovative and white glove Angie's List for private equity and VC firms and their portfolio companies, connecting them with excellent solution providers, like consulting firms, marketing agencies, and other expert advisors. 

The Consultant Manager plays a key role in delivery of BluWave's solution: regularly interfacing with private equity and portfolio company leadership, managing our consultative research and identification process, and executing on our solution delivery, connecting resources and monitoring project performance. 

Backgrounds with 3-7 years of experience in consulting, market research, and/or expert networks, and experience working with venture capital and/or private equity backed funds and their portfolio companies are desirable.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assessing the customer’s needs by asking thoughtful and insightful questions
  • Utilize strong project management skills in designing solutions
  • Collaborating with others during the discovery and execution process
  • Recruiting potential members to join the platform
  • Managing and mentoring entry-level team members
  • Support other coworkers in their efforts and endeavors
  • Mastering BluWave’s platform and becoming a product subject matter expert

  • Amazing verbal and written communication skills


Position Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, market research, and/or expert networks
  • 2+ years in a client or customer facing role as an account manager, client manager, or similar role as a consulting or project manager
  • Track record of providing strategic solutions to organizational issues or problem
  • Experience working with venture capital and/or private equity backed funds and their portfolio companies is strongly desired
