BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Job Duties
- Creates new business opportunities and increases sales revenues by identifying, qualifying, and selling staffing solutions to new buyers from corporations across diverse industries and skillsets
- Prospecting, generating, and qualifying leads through in-person and telephone cold-calling
- Developing and executing effective marketing/sales campaigns to prospects to generate new business
- Contacts and visits customers to discuss staffing needs and present our firm's service offerings
- Provides consultative recruiting solutions to staffing issues that corporations face, quotes rates, and assists in client follow up/support in tandem with our recruiting team to meet our client's staffing needs
- Develop and execute sales presentations to support and grow sales revenue
- Tracks all activity on new customers/prospects daily and reports to the owner
- Create leads through networking and following up on those leads to present prospective corporations with staffing solutions that fit their needs
- Conducts territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Maintaining effective documentation and tracking sales activity in company software system
- Actively participating in local networking organizations
Job Requirements
- 2++ years of successful staffing industry experience is ideal!
- Direct sales and/or business development experience (experience selling a service versus a tangible product a plus)
- Territory and account management experience with proven competency in account penetration and time management
- Ability to communicate with Client at all levels from Managers, Directors to C-levels
- Ability to make 50+ calls a day and 5 client meetings per week
- Must be a self-starter and be self-motivated
- A proven sales ability with success at building relationships and creating customer loyalty
- Strong work ethics

- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, typing, and data entry skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of developing sales pipeline
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
