Summary:

The Graphic Designer will design creative material to increase brand awareness of the credit union and promote products and services.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Graphic Designer will design creative material including mailers, print ads, flyers, brochures, posters, newsletters, statement ads, online ads and social media messages for all products and services.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop and edit email marketing campaigns.
  2. Create ideas, research and write articles.
  3. Assist with copyrighting and media releases.
  4. Design marketing collateral and presentations for corporate and community events, and special projects.
  5. Collaborate with marketing team on creative/conceptual ideas.
  6. Assist with planning and coordination of marketing campaigns.
  7. Utilize web site management tools to place marketing content.
  8. Manage and maintain multiple projects at varying levels of completion.
  9. Must comply with all applicable statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, BSA.
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Specifications:

Graphic Designer must possess creative design, copy writing and editing skills. Thorough knowledge of composition, layout, graphic design and printing processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must take initiative, work independently and be able to work with a variety of styles and technologies. Must be highly motivated, self-driven and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Multimedia experience preferred.

Requirements:

Must be proficient in graphic design and writing. Must be MacIntosh proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator & Dreamweaver). Must be comfortable using the Internet as a delivery system for graphics, fonts, PDF files, etc. Basic knowledge of HTML is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Associates degree in Graphic Design is required. Design portfolios will be reviewed.
