Job Description

A DC-Based Membership Association is looking for a Program Coordinator to support their Education Department programming. This role will have a focus on updating and maintaining the data integrity of the Membership database and Learning Management System. You will be working with a great team at the national office in Washington D.C. for an organization that is working to advance the industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development.

This role is a good opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to gain professional office experience! Please note that you will be needed in the office for this position.

Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include:

  • Creates, updates and maintains the data integrity of Membership Database and Learning management system.
  • Facilitates the distribution of course materials, evaluations and certificates.
  • Develops reports on training usage and feedback.
  • Assists with the scheduling of educational courses.
  • Assists with the materials and execution of educational elements of national meetings.
  • Responds to or refers inquiries regarding educational programs and services as received from members and chapters, industry organizations and the public.
  • Supports the Education department on an as needed basis.
  • Assists in preparation of presentations and materials for meetings and conferences.
  • Maintains database for electronic distribution of materials and communications.

Requirements of the Program Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
