The Archive Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of the scanned bill storage room. This individual maintains destruction schedule and is physically responsible for destroying the bills based on the destruction timetable. This individual also fulfills archive retrieval requests from the various departments and performs frequent heavy lifting up to 40 pounds.

Work Schedule – Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 2:00 pm)


  • Responsible for placing bills into the storage areas. 
  • Maintains destruction schedule for freight and utility bills. 
  • Performs destruction of the bills as schedule dictates.
  • Retrieves bills required by various Cass departments utilizing archive retrieval requests.  Routes the bill to the requestor as per department procedures. 
  • Attempts to enhance image quality as requested. Retrieves bills listed on unscanned reports for rescanning.
  • Provides backup support for the mailroom clerk.
  • Provides backup support for the scanning quality control lead.
  • Performs general heavy lifting duties up to 40 pounds when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to work accurately and to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience found in a production-oriented processing environment.
