Persado is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer (location is flexible within the US). Customer-facing skills are crucial, and strong knowledge of the digital marketing landscape is important, ideally with some experience in one or more of the following:

  • Technical Pre-Sales
  • Consulting
  • Hi-Tech Digital Marketing

What We Want You To Do:

  • Work with the Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions and drive revenue with new and existing clients
  • Lead Discovery meetings, evaluate opportunities and build business cases
  • Develop and deliver presentations and custom product demonstrations
  • Prescribe business plans based on customer-specific strategic imperatives, data and insights
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of Persado Integrations and Solutions during the early stages of the partnership
  • Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and beyond
  • Work with existing clients to get a detailed understanding and fully map out their enterprise
    communications, technology stack, and operational processes.
  • Develop comprehensive launch and scale strategies and provide clients with actionable
    innovation and automation roadmaps that enable AI copywriting at scale and drive business impact

What We Want To See:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales or consulting roles in marketing clouds / digital agencies / digital divisions of consulting firms
  • Deep understanding of the digital world, including email marketing, display advertising, social, web, etc.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following products is a distinct advantage: Adform, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, DoubleClick, Emarsys, Experian Cheetahmail/CCMP, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, IBM Unica, Optimizely, Oracle Responsys, Salesforce.com, SFMC.
  • Solid grasp of pre/post technical sales and partner organizations as it relates to product sales, implementation, and support
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate optimally across teams
  • Working knowledge of client-side/server side architecture and basic API design principles
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Javascript is a nice to have
  • A STEM degree.
