Job Summary: The Provider Relations Manager will have the opportunity to work closely and provide support to our Independent and Salaried providers. Provider Relations Manager will assist in ensuring that rendering therapists are providing their EI hours as mandated as well as making sure all necessary paperwork is received in a timely manner following Quality Assurance regulations.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct New Hire Orientation for all new therapists
  • Conduct Billing and Service Provision Training
  • Establish and Maintain a close relationship with all therapists
  • Ensure therapists' paperwork is received in a timely manner and in accordance to EI rules and regulations
  • Keep therapists informed of all changes regarding EI regulations
  • Analyze productivity and create initiatives to increase overall NYC EI productivity
  • Plan and analyze therapists' needs with staffing department to present to Domestic Recruiting Department
  • Review therapists' performance in order to evaluate for rate increase
  • Review therapists' performance in order to determine continued employment
  • Meet with therapists to discuss concerns and resolve issues
  • Work closely with other departments such as Case management, Service Coordination, Staffing, and QA department on therapists' consistent issues
  • Handle Heavy e-mail and phone contact with therapists as well as office staff
  • Provide Rapid response to office personnel as well as therapists

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Strong typing skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word and customized databases
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • One-Three years of experience in the Early Intervention Program preferred 

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish required 
  • Solid interpersonal communication - verbal and written - skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Take initiative and be a decision maker
  • Strong analytical skills pertaining to therapist case loads and changes that need to be made
  • Successful experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential
