New York Center for Infants & Toddlers is seeking to hire full-time and part-time Teacher Assistants to work one to one with children providing ABA and play-based therapy (JASPER) in our Early Intervention Center-Based program designed for young children with autism.
All services will be provided under the supervision of the Head Teacher who is a New York State Certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the early childhood special education field, and to obtain skills as an ABA or play-based therapist.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children under the age of five. Prior experience working with young children with autism is highly desirable, but not required.
Full-time hours are: 7:30am-4:30pm
Part-time hours are: 7:30am-12:00pm or 12:15pm-4:45pm
