Job Description

New York Center for Child Development has an immediate opening for a head teacher for our collaborative integrated class in a community based head start in Queens. Class of 15 (7 with IEPs) is team taught with a general education teacher and a Teaching Assistant.

One of the Following is Required:

· NYS Teaching Certification, Permanent Special Education

· Professional Certification Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd Grade)

· Initial Certification Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd Grade)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not essential


· Corona, Queens
