The Position: VP/Director of Demand Generation Marketing

Fund That Flip is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader of our demand generation programs, who will be responsible for helping to grow our current programs exponentially. Leveling and title commensurate with candidate experience relative to role qualifications. The company is distributed, meaning remote candidates are welcome. At the employees' consideration, offices are available in Cleveland, OH, and New York, NY.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of demand generation to achieve revenue goals that support Fund That Flip’s fast-paced growth. As head of demand generation marketing, you are highly cross-functional, strategic, and both a creative and analytical thinker. You are always learning and striving to improve your craft, and you naturally inspire others to do the same.

Coming to this role, you are a seasoned demand generation marketer, someone who has been labeled a “high potential” in a previous role, or both. You’ve previously led a team of marketers and have led teams through levels of high growth within an entrepreneurial/startup environment. You take full ownership of your team, which is seen in your organization as a powerhouse of strategic thinking and execution of the highest quality.

You’re a strong communicator, both internally to your marketing team but also to your partners in Sales, Customer Success, Product, Business Operations, and across the wider company. You are a capable leader, both in person and in distributed meetings. You elevate the position of the marketing department within your organization.

You are a driven, innovative, and energetic marketer. You will be responsible for the creation and execution of Fund That Flip’s multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and new business pipelines; as such, you have a proven track record of demand generation campaigns that are tied to the company’s revenue goals. You will be responsible for campaign strategy development, program execution, team management, and process optimization. You live for building and empowering high-performing teams and are renowned for your ability to get things done. When it’s necessary, you naturally step in and execute initiatives without prompting.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive user and customer acquisition by developing, implementing, and managing the demand generation plan. Own execution of its associated plan, including scope, target outcomes, key metrics and measures, and required inputs and resources to deliver.
  • Develop and execute new digital campaigns. Manage day-to-day operations across multiple digital channels.
  • Build processes that will track and report on key performance metrics and use data to optimize campaign strategies continually.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Work collaboratively to build, inspire, manage, and grow a high-performing demand generation team.
  • Work closely with Revenue Marketing and Sales to deploy campaigns and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns, adjusting demand tactics and strategy accordingly
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Business Operations, and Sales to ensure message optimization and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years’ experience in roles of increasing responsibility, including managing revenue pipeline in high-growth companies; reporting to highest level of marketing leadership preferred.
  • Experience running a team of high-performing marketers, including both individual contributors and functional groups.
  • A proven track record of leveraging digital marketing best practices balanced with an innate curiosity to explore new trends and methods.
  • Experience with digital and non-digital demand generation tactics.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizations.
  • Fluency in demand generation metrics and approaches to test and optimize them using marketing automation, analytics, business intelligence, and other tools.
  • Proven history of scaling demand generation programs through technology, data, process, and grit.
  • An innate sense of urgency to drive programs forward.
