Job Description

Position Overview

The Network Optimization Manager (NOM) will report directly to the Vice President of
Capacity (VPC) within the INC division of ITS Logistics. The NOM will leverage ITS
Logistics’ current network to create best- in- class network optimization and utilization. The
NOM will conceptualize and implement processes to improve available capacity, carrier
relationships and carrier pricing along with playing an integral role in spearheading the
technology development related to optimizing the network. This individual is responsible for the
daily management and oversight of the entire ITS logistics network.

Principal Responsibilities

The Network Optimization Manager will be responsible for the effective design of the ITS
Logistics network optimization. Through data analysis, modeling, collaboration with internal
stakeholders and industry research you will design an optimal ITS Logistics transportation
network maximizing asset utilization. The Network optimization platform will maximize
efficiency and improve our ability to purchase capacity at the lowest cost in the industry through
a captive audience of our current carriers in network and onboarding of new carriers. Must have
a passion for designing innovative solutions that continually improve the experiences of our
carriers and internal team. While working with all key parts of the business, the NOM will work
closely with VPC to achieve the following responsibilities:
Develop an overall ITS Logistics Network Optimization strategy and execution which
includes load matching technologies and transparency to available capacity and ITS assets
Establish processes which allow ITS Logistics to keep partner carriers servicing ITS’s
network exclusively
Assist on the development of pricing technologies and strengthen insight into market and
internal network dynamics
Analyze and recommend optimal network solutions for seasonal and regional efficiencies
Work directly with internal personnel including Carrier Relationship Managers identifying
required network capacity and constraints and assist with sourcing events
Continually make recommendations for network utilization, operational processes’
effectiveness, scalability and automation whenever possible
Assist our Asset Lite division on identified needs, including but not limited to securing
backhauls and utilizing our network to position assets based on business needs
Establish and present to leadership daily/weekly/monthly KPI's for all key areas of Network
Make technology improvement recommendations

Position Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a documented history of transportation operations in a fast paced,
high results environment. Previous experience in the logistics industry is highly desirable.
Additional attributes we seek include:

One or more years of capacity sales and operations experience in over-the-road trucking is
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics management or related field is preferred
Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively coach and influence
Ability to think analytically and interpret data to drive decisions
Possession strong business judgment
Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to operational processes and
all systems
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Strong follow through and ability to work in groups and see projects to completion without
significant oversight required
Advanced Technology understanding and competency including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong orientation toward serving Carriers to the best of your abilities

Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary between $70-90K (DOE) plus a bonus structure.
