Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor II is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical staff at the Practice Site. Schedules hours and ensures staffing needs are met to cover patient visits. Performs various administrative functions and assists the doctors and physician extenders with examinations and patient care. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

The clinical supervisor oversees 15 direct reports which includes all clinical staff as well as the surgical coordinator. I would say OB/GYN experience is preferred, prior management experience not required.

  • Oversee all clinical operations of the office including maintaining POCT testing/competencies
  • Maintain contact with office med reps/request samples as needed
  • Maintain clinical staff schedule, adjust for call offs as needed
  • Coordinate weekly OB meetings/ monthly provider meetings
  • Manage/ approve staff vacation requests
  • Resource for providers
  • Help other staff with ordering of supplies
  • Attend meetings as office representative ( ex. Monthly clinical forum)
  • Cover for surgical coordinator as needed


Qualifications

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience
  • Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure
  • PA Practical Nurse License
  • PA Registered Nurse License
