Responsibilities
The On-Call Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing, intervention, and supportive care to Home Health and Hospice patients in their place of residence for evening, night, weekend, and holiday on-call duty in accordance with the Plan of Care for each patient. The individual must have a demonstrated ability to triage phone calls to determine plan of action. In addition, the role will respond to medical and emotional crisis and/or death of patient and make home visits to provide direct care as appropriate. This is a field based position, which requires travel to patient's home or facility to administer the care and is required to communicate effectively with all others patient caregivers, including the doctor, ensuring all needs of patient are met.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Certification and Licensure
- RN license in the State of PA
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Current Automobile Insurance
