Bonus Pay-Out Structure: $200 after 3 months, $300 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year.

Reading Hospital's Laboratory is CAP accredited offering specialized testing, lab automation, and state of the art equipment. The lab offers cross training opportunities and the opportunity to be a part of cross-function process improvement teams. In Fiscal Year 2020, the lab performed 2,677,245 tests. Reading's lab offers opportunities for advancement and continued career growth (career advancement ladder offered for Phlebotomists). In addition, Reading Hospital is a level 1 trauma center and now performs kidney and liver transplants.
Responsibilities
Obtains specimens for patients including, but not limited to, blood cultures, venipuncture and capillary samples. Assists in clerical duties for the department.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Successful completion of basic phlebotomy training
Experience:
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Must be able to demonstrate correct use of supplies and tasks after brief orientation
Licenses/Certificates:
Successful completion of certification or registry exam strongly encouraged
Other:
Valid PA Driver's License may be required if driving company vehicle
