Job Description
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance tasks and day to day repairs of equipment, systems and building configurations. The Technician operates, maintains, monitors and repairs stationary steam, chilled water, and cogeneration plant consisting of fire tube boilers, electric centrifugal chillers, steam turbine centrifugal chillers, HVAC equipment and associated physical plant equipment and controls. The technician is expected to manage their tasks in a self-directed approach utilizing the computerized work order system and communicate with Leads and Managers. Additional duties as assigned by Management.

High School Diploma or GED

Relevant Experience
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
PA Drivers License
Boiler License Required within 1 year of hire
4,160 boiler plant hours
REQUIRED SKILLS
Boiler Experience
Mechanical Experience
Industrial Maintenance with basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and mechanical.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of BAS (building automation systems).
Good troubleshooting skills.
Good communication/people skills.
Able to work as a team and at times independently.
