Patient Transporter

• The transporter functions within the policies and procedures of Phoenixville Hospital /Tower Health and the Division of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• The primary job responsibility is assisting staff in the transport of patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair for testing or to surgical suite.
• Transporting of blood specimens to the Lab.
• Assisting patients to theri vehical when discharged from the hospital.
• Performance of tasks supportive to general hospital department activities.
• The transporter functions within the policies and procedures of Phoenixville Hospital / Tower Health and the Division of Nursing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• *CPR CERTIFICATION (Required)
• Experience and Skills:
• 1-3 Years Customer service experience. (Preferred)
• Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
