The Nursing Director coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to ensure the provision of high quality care. The Nursing Director
works in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and has 24/7 accountability for planning and operations of the Senior Behaviroal Health Unit. Demonstrates clinical
proficiency in current practice and knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice. Implements sound business and human resources
management plans.
Education Requirements: * 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Other Bachelors acceptable if currently enrolled in BSN or MSN program (Required).
Other Education: Graduate of an Acreditted School Of Nursing (Required). Masters Degree: Nursing (Preferred).
Certification and Licensure Requirements: *BLS CERTIFICATION (Required).*PA REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE (Required).
Cerification in area of specialty or management within two years (Preferred).
Membership in a professional organization (Preferred).
Experience and Skills: *1-3 Years Leadership (Required). Required Skills: Excellent Communications Skills, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, General Clerical Skills. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
