RNFA - Operating Room-Full Time-$10,000 Sign On Bonus

Phoeinixville Hospital is a small community hospital located at 140 Nutt Rd, Phoeinxville Pa. The Perioperative Services Department includes 7 operating rooms as well as Ambulatory Surgery Center- Limerick ( located off sight), Endoscopy, Short Procedure, PACU, PAT and Sterile Processing. It is part of the Tower Health System which consists of 7 hospitals including Reading Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Phoenixville Hospital, Brandywine Hospital, Jennersville Hospital, Chestnut Hill Hospital and St. Christophor's.

Responsibilities

$10,000 Sign-On-Bonus based on experience for a RNFA for Phoenixville Hospital

Responsibilities include first assisting for multiple specialties including general/ robotics, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, ortho, neuro, endo-vascular/vascular surgeries, and cardio/thoracic, in addition to scrubbing and circulating these specialties when needed. Other Duties include maintaining proper aseptic technique and infection control measures, picking cases, and maintaining supplies. Position also includes taking call in the RNFA rotation. Maintains standards of nursing care, while a member of the surgical team, in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. Interest and Participation in Shared Governance/ Magnet Journey preferred. Knowledge of EPIC preferred, but not required.

Hours are five days a week, 7-3:30pm.

On call hours are approximately one weeknight, 11pm -7am/ week and one weekend every 6 weeks, holidays are rotated. Candidate must reside within 45 minutes of Phoenixville Hospital.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing -
• Current PA Registered Nurse license
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) AHA for Healthcare Provider Certification
• Two or more years of OR RNFA experience - Robotics, Vascular, Orthopedic, Neuro speciality experience,preferred.
