Responsibilities

Reports directly to Respiratory Supervisor. This therapist administers physician prescribed respiratory treatments and therapeutic use of medical gases and administration O2 apparatus, humidification, aerosols, medications, ventilator support, bronchopulmonary drainage and exercises, pulmonary rehabilitation, the assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, EKG's, ABG’s and the maintenance of natural, artificial and mechanical airways

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of accredited program in respiratory therapy.

Experience: 1 year experience as a respiratory therapist

Licenses/Certificates: State of Pennsylvania license required. Current AHA CPR certification or equivalent required; ACLS , PALS, and NRP required. CPI required.
