Responsibilities

Seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for delivery of patient care (direct and indirect) through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The nurse on this Psychiatric unit coordinates and implements quality patient care through an interdisciplinary team approach while utilizing knowledge of disease process and physical assessment.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required)
• BSN prefered

Certification and Licensure Requirements

• PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
• BLS required on hire
• CPI Certification within one month of hire

Experience and Skills

• 1 year experience in an acute care facility or mental health nursing preferred.
