JOB SUMMARY - TEMPORARY Medical Group Scheduling Representative (MGSR)/Call Center- Community Helpline
This role is on the team and will anser calls from the community regarding services and questions related to Reading Hopsital/Tower Health. You may also be cross=trained to accurately coordinate and schedule complex diagnostic procedures and obtaining
pre-registration information, including demographics and insurance, as well as verifying and communicating authorization requirements.
The MGSR conducts physician office/patient interviews, collects clinical information in response to scheduling questions.
The MGSR explains procedure guidelines and necessary patient preparations, and coordinates with clinical departments regarding protocols, STAT appointments, and modifications to normal scheduling protocols.
