The Administrative Director of Laboratory Services is responsible, along with the Chair of Pathology, for the planning, organization and direction of the operations of the laboratory through appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibilities. Plans the course of the department to meet capital, personnel and expense budgets while insuring continuous quality of services provided. Maintains active and satisfactory working relationships with other hospital departments, committees and administrators. Ensures laboratory compliance with the hospital's mission and policies as well as Federal, State, CLIA '88 regulations.
