Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgical Tech to assist with OR cases such as cardiac robotic valve replacement, minimally invasive valve replacement, CABG procedures, LEAD extraction cases, TAVR procedures, etc. This team also performs thoracic cases. The Surgical Tech is responsible for: Assisting surgical team during operative procedures; Arranging and performing inventory of sterile set-up for operations, and handing items as needed to the operative team; Assisting in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms. The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Post High School Diploma Program Required

Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist Required

Minimum 1-2+ Years Cardiac Surgery Experience (outside of clinicals/schooling) Required

Experience with minimally invasive valve repairs

Experience with Davinci Si and Xi robotic cardiac procedures

Experience with TAVR cases
