Reading Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Trauma Services team. The Trauma Nurse Practitioner will function as a clinical expert in the Trauma Program from resuscitation through discharge and outpatient follow up. The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with Trauma Surgery and multidisciplinary health professionals in coordinating and delivering patient care and facilitating communication between the patient and family, various hospital departments, nursing service and medical staff. The Trauma Nurse Practitioner is involved in performance improvement to ensure quality patient care and best practice. Must be licensed as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania; 1 to 3 years clinical trauma or ICU experience required.
