Central Sterile Processing Technician

Phoenixville Hospital is a small community hospital located at 140 Nutt Rd, Phoenixville Pa. The Perioperative Services Department includes 7 operating rooms as well as Ambulatory Surgery Center- Limerick (located off sight), Endoscopy, Short Procedure, PACU, PAT and Sterile Processing. It is part of the Tower Health System which consists of 7 hospitals including Reading Hospital, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Phoenixville Hospital, Brandywine Hospital, Jennersville Hospital, Chestnut Hill Hospital and St. Christopher’s.

Perform cleaning, assembling, preparation and sterilizing duties in Central Sterile Processing as directed. Receive and dispense supplies and equipment for the Operating Room, OB/GYN department. Schedule: This is a an occasional position evening shift (8 hours/week) to help provide weekend, holiday and sick coverage as needed.

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required.

Must understand how to use basic functions of a computer, including email.

Must be detail oriented. On-the-job training will be provided. Certification after training period is completed is strongly urged.
