Responsibilities

6/6 Weekends 7P to 7A

Maintains standards of surg tech care, while a member of the surgical team, under the supervision and direction of professional nurses and in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. Will also assume duties on the unit to include but not limited to phlebotomy, vs, assisting with newborn care, and general patient care assistant duties.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology.

Experience:

Demonstrates ability to work in demanding and stressful situations.

Licenses/Certificates:

Certification a plus.

Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
