Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Qualified Physician and the Operations Manager or designate, and the clinical daily work tasks assigned by Lead Mammographer, performs a variety of procedures of Breast Health Services. Uses sound judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in completing work schedules with highly technical mammography equipment and quality imaging.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school.

Meets AART Continuing Education requirement.

Experience:

Must successfully complete 60-day probation period.

Minimum five years experience in Mammography preferred.

Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.

Previous experience on Hologic Dimensions preferred

Previous Carestream and PACs knowledge preferred

Previous EPIC knowledge preferred

Licenses/Certificates:

Must be ARRT Registered in Mammography

Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT.

Current CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
