Job Description

McGill is a civil engineering firm focused on helping municipalities solve their water / wastewater challenges. Our team designs solutions that meet each community's unique need by approaching each project with a fresh perspective.

Project Engineers prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates related to a variety of water/wastewater projects. They may supervise the work of technical support personnel assigned to the project. The Project Engineer will work on an established team with a wealth of technical expertise and have a chance to work across offices to gain even greater exposure to projects in a variety of geographical regions.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
  • North Carolina PE license or the ability to obtain license within 6 months
  • AutoCAD – Civil 3D experience required
  • Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
  • Excellent writing and communication skills required
