The Engineering Associate II (EA II) is the senior level position for an engineering associate that is appropriately licensed as an engineering intern (EI) or equivalent, in the respective state in which they work for McGill Associates. As a senior level engineering associate position the EA II reports directly to the respective Senior Project Manager (SPM) to which they have been assigned. However, the EA II will typically be given assignments by Project Managers and Project Engineers affiliated with the SPM’s team.

Each project is unique and allows the opportunity to ask questions, seek guidance, and grow as a professional. This career track is suitable for those that have a minimum of two-three years experience and graduated with a degree in civil or environmental engineering who plan to pursue PE license.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field

• Engineering Intern (EI) Certification required

• 2-3 year experience required

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license

• Proficiency in AutoCAD – Civil 3D

• Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Excellent writing and communication skills
