The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is one of the thirteen circuit courts in the federal judiciary but unique in that it has nationwide jurisdiction in a variety of subject areas, including patent and trademark, international trade, government contracts, certain money claims against the United States government, federal personnel, veterans' benefits, and public safety officers' benefits claims.
Court staff provide operational and administrative support to the court's judges in the areas of court administration, finance and procurement, budgeting, space and facilities, information technology, legal, and administrative and program support.
