Hein & Co., Inc./HeinOnline is currently seeking a highly skilled and energetic candidate for the position of Software Developer .  This full-stack development position services all departments within the company and performs a wide range of vital tasks and responsibilities. The successful candidate will facilitate the development of electronic products and software systems to improve/enhance productivity throughout the company. Qualifications Required: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in information technology/computer science or software development related track and four years’ experience or a four-year degree with two years’ experience. Strong working knowledge of Linux server-based development environments with technologies including Perl, PHP, Python, MySQL, Apache, Laravel, HTML/CSS. Knowledge in Galera DB, SOLR, ImageMagick, GIT, iOS/Android App Development, Docker, unstructured DB’s, EDI message sets, open-source technologies and general business operation/procedure knowledge all a plus.  Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required as well as the ability to accurately assess the scope of a project, good time management and the ability to work independently as well as with an agile development team.
