Ohio Reading Corps is an AmeriCorps program that enrolls people to serve as Reading or Math tutors for elementary students in Ohio. Our Members are enrolled for 6-10 months during the school year, and receive a monthly stipend payment as well as an Education Award for student loans or tuition payments.
Members are trained to be effective tutors. Members also receive a Chromebook and a Reading A-Z subscription to help with their tutoring.
Service with AmeriCorps is a great way to get professional experience, and can be an excellent career-booster.
