Summary:
Hitachi America, Ltd. (www.hitachi-america.us) is seeking a Benefits professional to provide support for the Hitachi America, Ltd. Group Health & Welfare Plan and the Hitachi Employee 401(k) Retirement Plan, and to support other compliance and administrative.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Respond to Group Company Administrator’s questions by phone and email
- Support audit process
- Support general administration of the Hitachi America, Ltd. Group Health & Welfare Plan and Hitachi Employee 401(k) Retirement Plan
- Categorize and file paper documents supporting benefit plans
- Support compliance related projects and other administrative projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 0-2years' experience in an administrative support role is preferred
- Willing to learn Health & Wellfare and/or 401(k) benefits administration
- Willing to learnERISA, IRS and DOL regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is a plus
- Must be detail-oriented and eager to learn
- Ability to interface with employees in a positive, helpful manner at all organizational levels; must have strong customer focus
- Ability to multi-task and be highly flexible
- Ability to work independently
