The Data Center

Founded in 1997, The Data Center is the most trusted resource for data about greater New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana and is committed to providing thoroughly researched and reliable data and analysis to inform public dialogue, policymaking, and decisionmaking. We gather data from established sources, analyze and identify the latest trends, produce action-oriented research reports, briefs, and dashboards, and ensure our findings are used by community leaders, decisionmakers, journalists and the general public. We are a fully independent, neutral nonprofit, expert at bringing data together from multiple sources. In doing so, we look beyond common anecdotes to provide rigorous, research informed, and data-based analysis on issues that matter most to government, business, nonprofit, and community leaders in our region.
