Summary The Campus Facilities Painter performs skilled painting work on interior and exterior elements of the beautiful Midwestern University campuses.  This individual will report to the 2nd Shift Lead Building Technician.  The hours of this position will be Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and/or interpret blueprints, sketches, instructions or layouts to understand work to be done. Performs skilled painting work in the preparation, patching, finishing, and maintaining of all building structures, walls, woodwork, furniture, and equipment by inspecting the worksite to determine the materials, equipment, tools, and method to be used. Prepares surfaces for painting using sandpaper, power sanders, steel wool, wire brushes, paint removers, filling nail holes, cracks, or joints with putty, plaster, or other fillers, applying paints, stains, varnishes, enamel, or lacquer using paint brushes, rollers, and/or...
